I’M GOING TO EXPOSE THE ENEMY TODAY!
Have people or situations tried to pull you down or rob your joy? Be on guard! The enemy is sneaky. He will use someone’s bad attitude or wrong spirit to shoot an arrow at you.
Sometimes these arrows come from people you least expect or in a moment you weren’t looking. The enemy’s goal is to defeat and discourage you. Why does he want to do that? Because he knows your inner joy and peace are your source of strength. If he can rob your joy, he can try to weaken you spiritually, or rob the abundant life you have in Christ.
I recently experienced this. After pouring into a person giving my time, energy and anointing, they shot an arrow at me. I wasn’t expecting it and it came in a moment when I wasn’t looking for it. In that moment God quickened me. I realized that it really wasn’t about me. It was more about the person. They were miserable inside, not just with me. And you could see the pattern and results of their behavior in other relationships in their life.
YOU HAVE A CHOICE!
It’s hard not to take a hit personally. But I had a choice. I could focus on the negative words they spoke to me or I could shake it off and focus on all the amazing words that have come to me from God and others. I made the choice to be unoffendable, to forgive, love and just shake it off. I chose to move on. Then moments later I received a text from a different person. This one was so glowing and full of life.
HEALTHY BOUNDARIES
It’s important to set healthy boundaries in your life. You need to guard your joy and peace. If you see that the enemy is using someone to hit you, depending on the level of relationship, you can communicate with the person to see if a reconciliation can happen. But if the person is not in a humble, teachable place, then you may just need to move on. Give your time and energy to those who truly value it. Stay humble, walk in love, keep a clean heart and shake the dust off your feet.
Also when God gives you discernment that someone’s spirit is off and they show you who they truly are…don’t ignore that. You don’t need to open your soul to toxic people. Unfortunately not everyone is whole and full of Christ-likeness. Love everyone, but be wise who you let in to your inner circle or close proximity. I always give people room to grow and transform, but if they don't then healthy boundaries are in order.
GOD’S JOY IS YOUR STRENGTH & HIS GLORY INSULATES YOU
God wants to infuse you with JOY, so you are strong in spirit. How do we truly cultivate a life of joy?
1. Stay connected to God. Don’t allow anything to separate you from His presence. In His presence is fullness of joy.
2. Spend time in His presence. Be a worshipper. God's presence will insulate your soul. You will be covered in God's glory!
3. Keep the door closed on sin. Compromise will rob your heart of true joy. Don’t let compromise or sin sneak in. If it does, confess, repent and turn to God. He will cleanse and make you new.
4. Guard your inner world. What thought patterns are running through your head? If you see them moving in the negative, take them captive and willfully refocus on the positive. Pay attention to what you are thinking.
5. Be unoffendable. Realize that when people hurt you it’s more of a reflection on them. Don’t let it in your heart. Forgive, give the hurt to God, shake it off and move on.
6. Learn to set healthy boundaries. You don’t have to let toxic people in to your inner circle over and over again.
7. Take care of yourself spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. Eat healthy, exercise & release endorphins, get the stress out of your soul. You will feel better about life and yourself.
God wants to anoint you with the oil of joy. He wants to empower you to live above every arrow the enemy would shoot at you.
You are going to have the “HA, HA” anointing. You are going to laugh right in the face of the enemy and defeat him.
Today I want to help elevate you into this life of joy, freedom and power.
For the next 2 days I’m offering a special premier offer that will speak to your soul.
